Progression
Study planning and academic support. Academic registration provides a semester-level study agreement: the student submits the KRS and the academic adviser approves it. Advisers support module selection and review progress each semester. Programme heads evaluate study progress, with monitoring by the Academic Administration Bureau (BAAK). For diploma and bachelor’s students, Article 38 provides academic warning and guided probation where performance is insufficient, before a Rector’s decision on termination. Professional, master’s and doctoral programmes have qualification-specific evaluation requirements.
Learning agreements and module recognition. For learning outside the programme, the curriculum team maps intended outcomes and workload, and the programme or faculty approves the learning plan. Chapter VI of the Curriculum Development Guidelines describes structured recognition against existing modules, free-form recognition of competencies, and a combination of these approaches. Recognised learning is entered in the transcript and reported to the national higher education database (PDDikti). The institutional agreements in Section 2.4.5 provide a basis for these individual arrangements. Transfer recognition takes account of learning outcomes, programme capacity and staffing. The programme assesses equivalence, subject to the stated ceiling of 70% of credits, and the Rector determines transfer status and updates institutional reporting. Recognition decisions must specify modules, Indonesian semester credit units (SKS) and grades awarded.
